- To notify your school of your child’s absence due to COVID please see information below

- Contact the attendance office to report the COVID positive.
- If your student is out more than 5 consecutive days you may request a short term independent study contract.
- In order for your student to return to school, you must provide a negative test result on day 5 or after. Please turn in the student results form to the attendance and/or health office.
*** If your student continues to test positive after day 5, they can return on day 11 without proof of a negative test.

- School notifies families with a group notification letter.
In order to stay in school, students without symptoms should:
1. Participate in testing on day 3, 4 or 5 following exposure.
- Students who are within 90 days of a prior COVID-19 infection should not test and
2. Parents must inform the school if the student tests positive or develops symptoms and
3. Students should wear a well fitting mask indoors and outdoors when around others following date of exposure through day 10.
Household Exposure:
To remain in school, students should:
1. Test immediately and
2. Test again on day 3, 4, or 5 after the household member ends their isolation and
3. Wear a well fitting mask indoors and outdoors when around others following date of exposure through day 10 and
4. Parents must inform the school if their student tests positive or develops symptoms.
Community Exposure:
To remain in school, students should:
1. Test on day 3, 4, or 5 and
2. Wear a well fitting mask indoors and outdoors when around others following the date of exposure through day 10.

Remain at home until symptoms improve
If symptoms are COVID related, a student may return to school, once symptoms improve and
1)Provide negative PCR or Two negative antigen tests taken at least 12 hours apart or
2)Provide negative antigen test on or after day 5 and
3) Should wear a well fitting face mask at all times, indoors and outdoors when near others from return through 10.
**If student is sent to school with symptoms parents will be called to pick student up.
