San Diego County leaders recently honored the 25 ‘Most Remarkable Teens.’ Sweetwater District’s very own, Chris Moya from Chula Vista High, was among the honorees for their were recognized in the category for LGBGTQ+ Activism. Chris founded the Genders and Sexualities Club, and Chula Closet Club at Chula Vista High School, creating safe spaces for their peers on campus and within our community.
