Public Notice of Sunshine Article 3 & 24 April-07-2022


Provisions of the California Government Code requires that public school employers and exclusive representatives present their initial proposals which relate to matter withing the scope of representation at a public meeting of this public school employer prior to commencing negotiations. The District sunshined proposals and held a public hearing for its initial proposals to the Sweetwater Education Association/CTA/NEA on April 7, 2022. – Click here for more information

SUHSD

Founded in 1920, the Sweetwater District has grown to more than 36,000 students in grades 7 through 12 and more than 10,000 adult learners. The district’s 32 campuses are located in the cities of Chula Vista, Imperial Beach, National City and San Diego, including the communities of Bonita, Eastlake, Otay Mesa, San Ysidro and South San Diego.
