Dear Sweetwater District Staff, Students and Community,
As we approach the winter break and welcome the New Year, I want to take this opportunity to reflect on our strong partnership within the Sweetwater District community. For many years, we have worked together to create an environment that fosters learning and growth for our students. I am truly grateful for the dedication of our teachers, staff, talented students, engaged parents, and community partners. Your unwavering support and collaboration are the foundation of our success.
We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the hard work and commitment each of you has shown throughout this school year. It’s important to recognize that every role in our district plays a vital part in our mission, often behind the scenes, to ensure the success of our schools and the well-being of our students.
Also, we would like to acknowledge the daily challenges we face in the field of education. We all experience the unpredictability that comes with educating and nurturing our children, yet we rise to the occasion with determination and care.
We are equally grateful for the support our parents provide. Your involvement is invaluable in celebrating your children’s achievements and guiding them through challenges, both big and small.
As we close out 2024, let’s approach the New Year with a positive mindset and readiness for what lies ahead. The opportunities that lie ahead are limitless, and together, we will continue to provide the best educational experiences for our children.
On behalf of the Sweetwater District Governing Board, thank you for entrusting us with your students’ education.
Wishing all SUSHD students, staff and community, a joyful holiday season filled with moments of joy and rejuvenation with family and friends. I look forward to welcoming our students back on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, ready to embark on another exciting chapter together in 2025!
Warm regards,
Moises G. Aguirre, Ed.D.
